Messages

To access this page, click Notifications > Messages on the left side menu. The Messages page opens, showing all messages that have been part of a campaign, regardless of the campaign status. The list first shows the messages from the campaign that was created last.

Messages appear in a list, with a row for each message and columns that show the following information:

User

Name of the recipient of the message.

Subject

Subject of the campaign that includes the message.

Method

Channel through which the user receives the notification of the message. The only method currently available is Push.

Status

Current status of the message. Refer to the table below to learn more about each status available.

Process Time

Date and time the message was processed.

A message may have any of the following statuses:

Queued

The message was created and is ready to be processed and sent to the user.

Processed

The message has been processed and is ready for the console to send it to the user.

Expired

The message could not be validated by the console and the process timed out.

Finished

The message was sent to the user.

Pending

The message could not be sent because the user has not been activated yet. The message is saved as pending and will be sent to the user, should it be activated at a future time.

Canceled

The message was part of a campaign that has been canceled.

Deleted

The message was part of a campaign that has been deleted.

Failed

The message could not be sent as there was an error while processing the campaign. The error could be caused by an incorrect configuration within the console or by an external problem, for example, a format issue in the .csv file imported with the users' list.

To access to the details of a specific message, find it in the list and click the eye icon to the right to open the Message Detail page, where you can view the following information: Message and batch ID, user, template code, subject and message for each notification method, message history and status. Click View user details within this page to open the recipient's User Details page.

To search a specific user or campaign, use the search bars located immediately before the list of messages. Use the first search bar from left to right to find templates by user and the second one to find templates by campaign.

Once you have searched by user and campaign, you can click Filter on the right side of the page to display advanced filtering criteria: status, subject, method (push or app) or processing date (start and end).

To see the results of all messages in a campaign, open the Campaigns page, fin the campaign you want to access in the list and click Actions (vertical three-dot icon to the right) > Details. Refer to the Campaign Details section to learn more about the information provided on this page.

To create a new message, click Create Message on the right side of the page.

Create a New Message

In the Messages page, click Create Message on the top right corner. The Notification Message page opens.

Select the destination user and the template. Choose a template using the search bar or click Show all templates to see a list of templates available. Templates are listed by date of use, from most to least recent.

Once you have selected the template, you can edit the subject and message or choose to keep the template’s default subject and message. You can also edit the values of its parameters.

Important

You may modify the values of a template’s parameters, but you cannot add new ones at this stage. Make all the necessary changes to the template from the Templates page before creating the message.

Click Send message to send the message to the recipient. You will then be redirected to the Messages page, where you will find the message on the top of the list with its corresponding status. Refer to the Messages section to learn more about each status available.
