Access Workspace

Access to Workspace depends on whether you work using Veritran On Premise or Veritran Cloud.

Veritran Cloud is a multi-client Workspace that allows its users to manage the products and Workspace modules of one or more clients. In the case of Veritran Cloud, a superadmin user must first grant you access. Then, to access Workspace, enter the URL specified in the cloud.

Veritran On Premise is a single-client Workspace that allows its users to manage the products and Workspace modules of that only client. In the case of Veritran On Premise, the client must have Workspace installed and a superadmin must first grant you access. Then, to access Workspace, enter the URL defined for your client in the browser.

Important

Once Workspace is installed, a first superdmin user is in charge of granting access to other users, who will then be allowed to work in the platform.

In both cases, once you enter the respective URL, enter your credentials (username or email, and password) and click Sign in.

In addition, the products available in Workspace and the information displayed in the Workspace Accounts & Environments module depend on the type of user accessing the platform.

As for Workspace modules, depending on the type of user working in the Workspace Accounts & Environments module, certain pages or accesses will be restricted. A superadmin user is allowed to manage the Clients, Users, API Tokens, Environments and Permissions Groups pages for all the clients within Veritran. A partner user can only manage these pages for the clients specifically assigned to that user. A client user is only allowed to manage its own Users, API Tokens, Environments and Permissions Groups pages. Client users won't have the Clients page available.

As for the Workspace Promotion module, the features and pages available are the same for all types of users. This means that all users with the required permissions are allowed to promote a project, regardless of their type.

Types of Users

There are three types of users than can operate in Workspace: client users, partner users and superadmin users, each of them with a specific role within Veritran.

  • Partner user: User allowed to manage the products of multiple clients. It can operate only under Veritran Cloud.

  • Superadmin user: User allowed to manage the products of all the clients. It can operate only under Veritran Cloud.

  • Client user: User allowed to manage the products of a single client. It can operate under Veritran Cloud and Veritran On Premise.

    Note

While client, partner and superadmin users can operate under Veritran Cloud, only client users can operate under Veritran On Premise.
