Create or Edit a Runner

Important

You need to be granted permissions to create or edit a runner. If you don’t have the necessary permissions, you won't have these options available. Contact your admin for assistance.

To create a runner, go to the Runners page and click + Create Runner. The Add Runner panel opens, where you can configure the following information:

Name

Click the field and enter a name for the runner (max. 60 characters). This field is mandatory.

Platform

Click the arrow and select a platform from the drop-down menu. This field is mandatory.

Hostname

Click the field and enter the name of the host where the runner will be working (max. 80 characters). This field is mandatory.

Max Concurrent Builds

Click the field and enter the number of concurrent builds accepted by the runner. You can also use the arrows to the right to set the number of concurrent builds.

Timeout

Click the field and enter the maximum time accepted for the generation of the binary.

Enabled

Click the toggle switch to disable the runner. By default, the runner is enabled.

Click Add to confirm the creation process. You are redirected to the Runners page, and a pop-up message appears, confirming that the runner was successfully created.

To edit a runner, find it in the list, click the vertical three-dot icon and then click Edit. The Edit Runner panel opens. The fields that can be edited are Platform, Hostname, Max Concurrent Builds and Timeout. You can also disable the runner by clicking the Enabled toggle. Click Save to apply the changes. You are redirected to the Runners page, and a pop-up message appears, confirming that the runner was successfully updated.
