Mobile Builder

Mobile Builder allows you to generate and manage your mobile app, and to visualize and configure your app's parameters, the environments and products associated to it, the platform versions and the runners used to generate your app.

Mobile Builder accelerates your app's binary generation and installation, allowing you to quickly test the app from a mobile device. It also keeps record of every build launched for your app, providing a detailed snapshot of each build generation to visualize the changes made.

Pre-requisites

Access to Mobile Builder depends on whether you work using Veritran On Premise or Veritran Cloud.

In the case of Veritran Cloud, a superadmin user must first grant you access. Then, to access Mobile Builder, enter the URL specified in the cloud.

In the case of Veritran On Premise, you must have Workspace installed and an admin must have granted access to the different users. Then, to access Mobile Builder, enter the URL defined for the client in the browser.

Access and Navigate Mobile Builder

To access Mobile Builder, either working under Veritran On Premise or Veritran Cloud, enter the respective URL. Then, enter your credentials (username or email and password) and click Sign in.

You can also access Mobile Builder from Workspace. Click the products menu in the Workspace homepage, navigate through the list of platform components and then click Mobile Builder. You will be redirected to the console.

Important

If you are redirected to Mobile Builder from the Workspace platform, you don't need to enter your credentials again.

The home page opens in the Applications page. Refer to the annotated image below to learn how to navigate Mobile Builder.

  1. Platform components. Click the grid icon to expand a menu where you can see the products available for your client within the Veritran platform. To change the client, click the arrow and select a client from the Choose client drop-down list located at the top of the menu. To change the Veritran product, find the product in the list, click it or hover over it and then click the desired environment. You will be redirected to that product's site without the need to log in again. Click the grid icon again to collapse the menu. You can also click the arrow at the bottom of this menu to expand or collapse it.

    Important

Only partner users can change the client from the Choose client drop-down menu. Client users won't see this drop-down menu on screen.

  2. Get help. Click to open Veritran Docs and learn more about this and other components within the Veritran platform.

  3. User settings. Click to access the user settings, where you can choose any of the following options: Manage sessions, Change password or Logout. Read Workspace Platform to learn more about these options.

  4. Main menu. Click any of the sections to go to the corresponding page. Refer to the table below to learn more.

Types of Users

There are two different types of users for Mobile Builder: client users and partner users. Partner users have access to the apps, products and environments of those clients they have been granted permissions for, while client users only have access to their own apps, products and environments.

Note

Mobile Builder includes filters only available for partner users to see a specific client’s apps, products and environments.
