Rules
Rules in BRM are business rules that contain the parameters that are applied to the logic of a transaction and under which that transaction is rejected (or approved) by the system. Based on the rejection or approval, the app user will be able to execute that transaction in the banking app created for your client. The business rules configured for the transactions of the app will depend on the business needs and requirements of your client.
Configuring rules is the fourth and last step to be carried out in BRM, after you defined the transactions, products and profiles to which the rules will be applied.
So, when you configure a business rule for a transaction and specify a product and a profile, the rule will only be considered in the transaction evaluation if the transaction is being carried out in relation to that specific product and for an app user classified under that profile.
Important
Configuring rules is not mandatory. Apply rules to a transaction only if you want to define the conditions of such transaction - for example, if you need to set a maximum amount per transaction or a maximum daily amount of money that can be used in such transaction.
The Rules page (BRM Home > Rules) shows all the rules created, imported or edited by BRM users in your environment.
Navigate the Rules page
On the Rules page, you can see the details of existing rules to define if they meet your client's requirements and, if necessary, make configuration changes. Additionally, if the rule you need has been created in other environment, you can export it and then import it from your local device to your environment. If any of the existing or imported rules don't meet your client's requirements, you can create one from scratch.

Once you configure the business rules according to your client's needs, you are ready to interact with the platform components required in order to invoke all the configurations set in BRM.
