Import or Export Configurations

The BRM system allows you to import and export transactions, products, profiles and rules, from your devices or to share with other users, respectively.

If the configuration (either a transaction, product, rule or profile) you need to use has already been created by you or another user in another environment but is not available in the environment you are working, you can import to your current environment.

Import Configurations

If the configuration you need to use has already been created by you or other user but is not available in the environment, you can import it. For example, if you previously exported transactions to the client's environment and tested the app, you can now import them back to your production environment. By using the import feature, you ensure the integrity of the configuration across all environments.

Read the instructions below to learn how to import a specific element or a set of configurations (transaction, product, rule or profile) from your device.

  1. Go to the page where you need to import an element. For example, go to the Transactions page (Home > Transactions).

  2. Click Import.

  3. Once the Import modal opens, click Select file and select the file in JSON format from the files browser.

  4. Click Import.

  5. A pop-up message informs you that the import was successful and the imported element will appear listed in this page.

Important

You can only import transactions saved in JSON format.

Export Configurations

In addition to importing configurations (transaction, product, rule or profile), you can also export them, either individually or in bulk. Read the instructions below to learn how to export an element from your environment to your device.

  1. To export one or more elements individually, click the checkbox located to the left of each element (for example, to the left of each transaction). The Export button will show the number of elements selected.

  2. Click Export.

  3. A modal opens, listing the names of elements selected and asking you to confirm the export. Click Export to proceed and save them in JSON format in your device.

To export all configurations of a page available in bulk, click Export All. A modal opens, asking you to confirm the export. Click Export to proceed and save the elements in JSON format in your device.
