Create a Campaign
From the Campaigns page, click Create campaign.
In the Create Campaign page that opens, complete the fields with the following information.
Campaign name | Enter a name for your campaign. Campaign names typically include the theme of the campaign and the date. |
User list | Select Active Users to send the messages to all your active users or Import campaign from CSV/GZ to upload a .csv file (up to 5 MB) or a .gz file (up to 12 MB) with a specific group of users of your choice. If you had previously downloaded the Campaign Summary of any campaign from the Downloads page, you can modify that file and import it to use that list. If you choose to import a .csv or .gz file, you will not have the option to add or edit any other parameter or information. NoteTo compress a .csv file and convert it to a .gz file you need to install a GZIP converter. |
Template | It is suggested that you use an existing template, as their parameters have already been configured to be interpreted by the apps. Alternatively, you can click Create template to create a new template. Read Templates to learn more. |
Subject and message | You may keep the template's default subject and message or edit those fields with a new subject and message for that campaign. |
Parameters | If you choose the Active Users option, you may modify the values of the parameters already configured for the selected template. Those changes are only applicable to the campaign you are creating. You can't add new parameters from this section. If needed, go to the Templates page and add the necessary parameters before creating the campaign. |
Delivery Date-Time | Select whether to launch the campaign immediately or to schedule it for a future date. You can only choose to schedule your campaign within the next 72 hours from the moment of creation. |
Once you have completed all sections, click Go to summary to open a summary of your campaign. At the bottom of the summary, you will find the options to download the campaign summary, and to launch your campaign or schedule it, depending on the Delivery Date-Time you set before. Refer to the table below to learn more about each option.
Download Summary | Click to go the Downloads page where you will be able to download the .csv file to your computer, modify it and upload it again for another campaign by choosing the Import Campaign from CSV/GZ option. |
Schedule Campaign | If you set the Delivery Date-Time to schedule the campaign for a future date, click Schedule Campaign to go to the Campaigns section, where the campaign will appear with the Scheduled status. |
Launch | If you set the Delivery Date-Time to launch the campaign immediately, click Launch to launch your campaign and go to the Campaigns section, where the campaign will appear with the Running status. |
Important
If, while creating your campaign, you choose to import a campaign from a .csv or .gz file, you will only find the Launch Campaign option at the bottom of the Create Campaign page.
