Create a Product
To create a product, go to the Products page and click + Create Product. The Add Product panel opens, where you configure the product's details. Refer to the table below to learn more.
Name | Click the field and enter a two-character name for the product. It must contain letters in lowercase. This field is mandatory. |
Description | Click the field and enter a short text to describe the product. This field is optional. |
Model | Click the field and enter the model to which the product applies (max. 8 characters). This field is mandatory. |
Model Description | Click the field and enter a short text that describes the model (max. 60 characters). This field is mandatory. |
Config Type | Click the field and enter the configuration type for that product. Configuration types are created in Middleware. Refer to the configurations list in Configuration Management to learn more. This field is mandatory. |
Client Code | Click the field and enter the four-character code that identifies the client. This field is mandatory. |
Client | Click the field and select a client from the drop-down menu. This field is mandatory. ImportantThe Client field is only available for partner users. |
Important
If you don't have the necessary information to complete any of these fields, contact your admin.
Click Add to confirm the creation process. You are redirected to the Products page, and a pop-up message appears confirming that the product was successfully created.
Note
Once created, products can't be edited or deleted.
