The configuration is a type of metadata that is key within the platform. It defines an app's behaviour, and allows you to design and manage the user's interface and business logic. Updating an app's flow and structure only requires you to update a configuration, and does not need any modifications within the code.

It's a component within the XpressPlug solution that allows you to integrate the SDK not only into native apps, but also into non-native and hybrid apps. It simplifies the integration process and allows hybrid apps to access native functionalities efficiently.

When an entrypoint executes a visual functionality, a new screen is created which overlaps the previous screen, and renders the designed user experience. Once the function is executed, this screen is deleted and returns control to the screen or context that invoked the function.
