AS Console

The AS console is the web interface through which the implementer (or any operating user with the required knowledge) can see the version and rules created for each AS environment, the users involved and their operation history, and can also configure and enable or disable such users and their associated tokens.

Access the AS console to start operating. To do this, you must have permissions granted for it through Workspace. If you don’t have the necessary permissions, contact your project lead.

You can use the AS console in different cases, for example:

  • If you need to make changes to the authentication rules applied to an app. In that case, you must create a version, where you will include the rules with modifications, and activate it so that it impacts on the app.

    Important

Rules must always be modified in the AS console and not through the database.

  • If you need to roll back to a previous version of a rule. In that case, you must activate a previous version, so that rules with prior configurations have effect on the app. When you activate the previous version, the former active version becomes inactive.

  • If a user has their device stolen. In that case, you can block the user or disable their token so that they are not able to operate in the app.

  • If you need to see the details of transactions executed by the user within a time frame and the response provided by the AS service. In that case, you can search for specific transactions under certain conditions and obtain the information you need.

  • If a new user has registered in the app. In that case, you can set the user password and its mode - this means that you can define whether the user will have to change the password once they enter it or not.

The console is divided into the Configuration, Utilities and Monitoring main sections. Refer to each article to learn more.
