Configure Call APIs
Call APIs are a Studio feature that allows you to integrate your Studio app with third-party services and to leverage devices' native functionalities (such as cameras for QR reading) to expand your app's features.
To use a Call API's functionality in your app, you must add it as a step or block in a process (Legacy or Lambda):
To add a Call API to a Legacy process, add the VT_CALL_API function.
To add a Call API to a Lambda process, insert the Call API block to your process.
Then, for both types of processes, configure each of the Call API's functions to perform the API call correctly and match the needs of your project.
There are several integrations that are already developed by Veritran, and others that you may have to request from Veritran or develop within your team. See the table below to read about the Call APIs available to be integrated with your app.
