[en] Configure SDKs

[en] Third-party Call APIs require you to add the associated SDK to your app's binary from Mobile Builder first. To do so, access Mobile Builder and follow the steps below. For this example, we will add the Firebase SDK and configure the parameters required to enable the Crashlytics feature in an app.

  1. [en] Go to the Applications page.

  2. [en] Find your app in the list. You can also use the filters above the list to narrow down your options by client and environment.

  3. [en] Click the vertical three-dot icon to the right of the app and then Edit.

  4. [en] In the Edit application page, find the SDKs section on the bottom right corner and click +Add SDK.

  5. [en] The Edit SDK panel opens. Select an SDK from the drop-down menu. For this example, select the Firebase SDK.

  6. [en] Review the platforms selected (Android, iOS or Harmony). By default, all the platforms configured for your app when adding the SDK are selected and you can unselect the ones where you do not want to include the SDK. For the Firebase SDK example, the only platforms available are iOS and Android.

    Importante

[en] Make sure to have the selected platforms added in the Platforms section to avoid issues when generating the app.

  7. [en] Fill in the parameters required to enable the SDK. Hover over the question mark icon to the right of each field to get additional information about that SDK configuration. For this example, add Crashlytics to the Feature field, and paste the content of the file generated and downloaded from Firebase for your app's iOS or Android version.

  8. [en] Click Add to finish and close the panel.

  9. [en] In the Edit application page, click Save to apply the changes made to your app. Whenever you generate your app's binary again, the SDK will be included.
