Export and Import

Previous steps

To be able to export configurable components and then import them in another environment, you must have previously prepared its design and technical documentation and created them in Studio.

Who participates in the export & import instance?

The implementer is in charge of exporting components and importing them in different environments for the project or in another project's environment.

Where do you work?

To work on this step, you must access your Studio environment and work with the module created for the project.

Since configurable components are created or modified in Studio through the interfaces of a module, the import and export features can be used in two circumstances:

  • Whenever your project required the creation of new configurable components or the visual update of existing components and you need you use them in another project.

  • Whenever you need to take the configurable components to a different environment - for example, from the testing environment to the production environment.
